Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has called for “serious introspection” within the Congress following its mixed performance in the recently concluded assembly elections across four states and one Union Territory. While acknowledging a major win in Kerala, Tharoor admitted that the party needs to reassess its strategy after setbacks elsewhere, reported ANI.

Reacting to the results, Tharoor said the party must carefully analyse what worked in some regions and failed in others. He pointed out that while victories offer encouragement, defeats should serve as lessons. “The party will have to do some very serious introspection,” he said, stressing the need for a realistic evaluation of campaign strategies, organisational strength, and voter outreach, reported ANI.
