The Passport Office is organizing a Passport Mela at Passport Seva Kendra, Mundhwa, on June 14, 2014, to cater to the high demand of passport services in its jurisdiction — Pune, Ahmednagar, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, and Solapur. This information was received from Atul Gotsurve, IFS, Regional Passport Officer, Pune.

The communiqué read: The Mela will be for Tatkaal (200 appointments) and Normal (500 appointments) applicants only. On Hold, ‘Walk in’ and PCC applications will not be entertained on this date. It may be noted that a Tatkaal appointment cannot be changed to Normal and vice-versa.

Applicants are requested to apply for appointments (Tatkaal or Normal) only if they have the required documents. It may be noted that, for logistical reasons, only applications with valid Annexure F would be accepted under Tatkaal Category.
