The profusely-bleeding Paramdhama was taken to Victoria Hospital where he was declared brought dead. Babu case According to police, Paramdhama had killed Babu after he refused to pay him protection money. He had nine criminal cases against him and had been arrested and remanded tou00a0 jail recently. But he had continued to extort money from businessman even from jail. From the records &gt;&gt;Paramdhama hailed from Andhra Pradesh. &gt;&gt;He was a school dropout, and had joined hands with small time rowdy Cycle Ravi. &gt;&gt;He used to extort money from builders, businessmen and realtors, but came under the police scanner after he threatened Andhra-based builders who started ventures in Bangalore. &gt;&gt;The builders approached Katta Subramanya Naidu, who sought the help of the then commissioner Neelam Achuta Rao. &gt;&gt;Paramdhama and his associates were nabbed by the then DCP (south) Alok Kumar. &gt;&gt;However, he continued to issue threats to the businessmen from within the jail.
