Strong Initial Response from Citizens

According to the Ministry, the response to the platform has been encouraging. Within just one day of the portal’s launch, 1,797 consumers voluntarily surrendered their LPG connections, reported IANS.

Mittal thanked citizens for their participation and urged more users to follow suit, highlighting the collective impact of such actions on improving energy access, reported IANS.

Boost to Equitable LPG Distribution

Officials believe that the initiative will play a key role in strengthening the distribution network by freeing up LPG connections for underserved households. This is particularly significant for regions where access to cleaner cooking fuel remains limited.
