Pune: 28-year-old driver held for allegedly raping woman in his bus

The accused has been arrested under various sections of the Indian Penal Code including rape and his vehicle impounded

The Pune Police arrested a 28-year-old driver for allegedly raping a woman whom he had provided shelter for the night along with her husband in his minibus parked in Swargate area of Pune, an official said. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday.

The accused has been arrested under various sections of the Indian Penal Code including rape and his vehicle impounded.
