In view of making flawless and convenient arrangements for the devotees for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027, the authorities have been working effortlessly. Satish Kumar, who is the Chairman and CEO of the Railway Board, on Sunday, conducted a comprehensive inspection of Nashik Road, Devlali, Odha, Kherwadi, and Kasbe Sukene stations. The inspection was done to review preparedness for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027. The brief inspection by the chairman and CEO of the railway board focused on cleanliness, passenger amenities, track fitness, infrastructural upgrades, and overall station readiness.
During the inspection, Satish Kumar was accompanied by Dharam Veer Meena, General Manager, Central Railway; Punit Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Bhusaval; Principal Heads of Departments; and other senior officers from Central Railway Headquarters and Bhusaval Division.
Following the inspection, a high-level meeting was subsequently held with officers from the State Government to discuss planning and coordination for the grand event. The decisions taken in the meeting majorly emphasised inter-agency cooperation and the timely execution of infrastructure works. The deliberations covered crowd management strategies, transport integration, and execution timelines. Joint action plans were proposed to ensure smooth and safe handling of the expected massive footfall during the Mela.
Furthermore, the Bhusaval Division reiterated its full commitment to enhancing facilities for the devotees along with ensuring seamless coordination and robust infrastructure to make Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027 a grand and successful event.
