Muth village in Vengurla taluka of Sindhudurg district has become the first village in Maharashtra to successfully complete the self-enumeration process under the ongoing campaign ahead of Census 2027, an official statement said on Friday.

The officials described it as an example of strong coordination between the administration and local residents.
