Third phase of Eastern Freeway hits roadblock

The Panjarpol-Ghatkopar Link Road, which was supposed to be thrown open to traffic by December, will be further delayed by 3 to 4 months

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) officials have announced that the Panjarpol-Ghatkopar Link Road (PGLR) will now be thrown open to traffic sometime in May next year.

Authorities had planned to commission the third phase of the project by December this year, but due to unforeseenu00a0circumstances, they have had to reverse their earlier decision.
