INS Sudarshini reaches Cape Verde on its final African stop of global voyage

The Indian Navy’s sail training ship INS Sudarshini arrived at the Port of Mindelo on Sao Vicente Island in Cape Verde on May 4, 2026, marking a key milestone in its ongoing transoceanic deployment, an official statement said on Wednesday.
The visit to Mindelo is the eighth port call since the ship was flagged off under the Lokayan-26 initiative on January 20 2026.
