Jalandhar-born former Punjab Ranji Trophy team captain and ex-India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is now a complete Mumbaikar. Harbhajan, now a commentator, who has settled in Mumbai since the last few years, wants his five-year-old son Jovan Veer Singh Plaha to play for Mumbai in future.
“I have played for Mumbai Indians for 10 years. I have been living here since then. He [son] has been studying here, he was born here, so, it is right that he will play for Mumbai,” Harbhajan said when Mumbai Cricket Association’s president Ajinkya Naik asked him if your son plays, will he register with the Mumbai Cricket Association or Punjab Cricket Association?
