After India batting stalwart Virat Kohli was recently spotted practising in the nets at the Cricket Club of India’s Brabourne Stadium, his ODI teammate and batting great Rohit Sharma has now been seen working on his fitness and agility at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s (MCA) BKC ground.
With both veterans preparing for the upcoming five-match ODI series against New Zealand, starting in Auckland on November 4, Rohit spent around an hour doing running drills on Sunday afternoon. The 39-year-old began with light jogging, followed by high knees and a few other exercises, before completing several sprints on MCA’s lush green outfield.
