KL Rahul on the other hand, was off-color in both the innings. He departed for a six-ball duck in the first essay and returned to the pavilion on just 12 runs in the second innings of the first match

Sensational batsman Shubman Gill will likely feature in the second match after missing out on the first game due to injury

If Gill features in the second Test, then Team India will be left with the question of benching either Rahul or Sarfaraz

Additionally, Washington Sundar has been added to the squad. If the management decides to add him as their other bowling option, then the tension to drop players from the squad will increase

So far, the "Black Caps" are leading the three-match Test series by 1-0 against India. The second Test match is set to be played in Pune from October 24
