Badminton U-19: Praanjal Taneja storms into Round Three

Praanjal Taneja of Delhi registered a 15-9, 15-11 win over 13-year-old Sai Gulane of Maharashtra to advance to the third round of the girl's U-19 qualifying event of the 3rd Gautam Thakkar Memorial All India Junior Badminton Tournament, at Bombay Gymkhana yesterday.
Meanwhile, in a boy's under-19 match, Anubhav Sharma of Delhi lost the first game but came back strongly, winning the next two for a 7-15, 15-8, 15-9 win over Shripad Kulkarni of Maharashtra.
