India’s Mahit Sandhu continued her sensational debut at the Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo by winning gold in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions event with a score of 456.0. This is her fourth medal of the Games, adding to her earlier gold in mixed 10m and two silver medals in individual shooting events

Continuing with her splendid debut run, India’s Mahit Sandhu clinched the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions gold for her fourth medal at the Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo.
Mahit totalled 456.0 after 45 shots to bag her second gold of the Games. South Korea’s Dain Jeong took silver with 453.5, while Hungary’s Mira Zsuzsanna Biatovszki claimed bronze with 438.6.
Mahit had previously won gold in the 10m mixed team event and two silvers in the 10m individual event and the 50m rifle prone event respectively.
Indian shooters have so far won 14 medals at the Deaflympics including five gold, six silver and three bronze.
