<p>Czech tennis ace Karolina Pliskova officially announced that she's engaged to sports commentator and moderator Michal Hrdlicka.</p>
<p>The World No. 1 disclosed the news during the US Open media day yesterday. Courtney Nguyen of WTA Insider told Pliskova: "You have a thing on your finger," as a way to inquire about the ring. "Yes, actually, guys. I'm engaged," Pliskova was quoted by portal Baseline.</p>

<p>She was quite hesitant to divulge any further details, but she did reveal when it took place. "It happened after Wimbledon when I had the time off. So it's almost, yeah, a month and a half," she added.</p>
<p>Pliskova's revelation comes after her reports emerged during a tournament in Toronto recently that she was wearing an engagement ring during an interview.</p>
