Thailand Open: Indian pair Sat-Chi settle for silver

Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty went down 12-21, 23-25 against Indonesia’s Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin at the Thailand Open final here on Sunday.
“The shuttles were quite fast compared to the rest of the tournament and it was difficult to adjust. They imposed their game style on us and we were always on the back foot in the first game. In the second game, we mixed things up better. If we had been a little sharper earlier, we could’ve won,” said Rankireddy.
