Pune: Picking up from where he had left in May when he had a fall at the Bangalore racetrack which fractured his left wrist and put him out of action for more than two months, ace jockey Trevor Patel delighted his innumerable fans by riding both his mounts on the Sunday card to facile victories.

The Pune railbirds were all eyes as they lined up the paddock to wish their favourite rider luck as he got a leg up from trainer Vishal Gaikwad before mounting Kings Canyon, who was backed down to 45/100. A confident Trevorl took a flier from the stating gates and coasted to an effortless start-to-finish victory to the delight of his followers to win the lower division of the Pune Cantonment Board Trophy.
