The Labubu doll has become an internet sensation rapidly. And it's not just the internet or trends, even celebrities are hopping on trend, including Urvashi Rautela, Kareena Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Rihanna, and Sharvari Wagh, have proudly flaunted their labubu dolls. As the Labubu fever continues to take over the world, storage stories about the doll are also surfacing on the internet. Many on the internet are sharing their eerie experiences with the dolls, while others are linking it's name and appearance to demonic forces. The latest to this list is Bigg Boss 16 contestant Archana Gautam, who shared her friend's unfortunate experiences after purchasing the doll.

Archana Gautam says Labubu doll is haunted

Bigg Boss 16 contestant Archana Gautam shared a video saying that the Labubu doll is unlucky, indicating that it contains bad or menacing energy. She said that the doll is haunted and may bring misery to the owner. She went on to say that everyone who has the doll is sure to face ill luck in one way or the other in their life.

Her comments have sparked discussion and conjecture online. Archana Gautam said, “A relative of mine bought this doll. As soon as she bought this doll, strange things started happening in her house. Her fixed marriage got cancelled. As soon as Laabu was brought, her father died the very next day...Everything gets spoiled...Life gets ruined."

Archana, along with the girl she was with, requested viewers not to bring the Labubu doll, stating that it is not good and destroys the fortune.

Not the first!

Labubus are originally created by Hong Kong-based toy artist Kasing Lung and produced by the brand Pop Mart. The toy was meant to be part of the imaginative 'The Monsters' series. People across the globe are loving the doll for its gothic-cute aesthetic, featuring a unique mix of innocence and horror, making it a staple on collector shelves as well as Instagram reels.

Interestingly, Archana is not the first or rather only person spilling such details about the doll. Several social media users have shared similar absurd stories. Some of these include dolls falling off shelves without being touched, children talking to the dolls as if they were alive, pets behaving anxiously around them, and spiritual healers warning people to 'keep them out of sacred spaces.' Many even noted that the doll's facial features resemble Pazuzu, a classic demon name from The Exorcist

Some internet users even claimed their Labubu doll's expression changed overnight. Among the growing discussions about the negative side of the dolls, dramatic videos of people burning their Labubu dolls have also gone viral. Some burnt them in bonfires, while some in ritual-like settings. Users say it’s the only way to 'break free from the energy.' Although critics have dismissed these acts, calling them superstition or clickbait, many followers claim that they felt lighter, calmer, or 'spiritually relieved' after destroying the doll.
