TV actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee recently revealed that she has filed a cybercrime complaint against social media trolls who targeted her seven-month-old son Joy. The actress recently shared a photo of her son, Joy, revealing his face for the first time on Instagram. Soon, the post was flooded with trolls posting nasty comments about his skin colour.

On July 25, Devoleena shared an Instagram post with pictures in which she is seen holding her son, Joy, in her arms. Along with the photos, she penned a heartfelt note. She wrote, "7 months of holding my heart outside my body… From those tiny fingers wrapping around mine to sleepless nights filled with snuggles — every moment has been pure magic. You’ve turned my world into a soft, beautiful chaos I never want to escape from."
The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actor added, "Here’s to growing together, one giggle, one cuddle, one milestone at a time. You, my little love, are my greatest journey."
Devoleena Bhattacharjee takes action against trolls
As trolls began criticising her son, Devoleena seemed to be in no mood to neglect the trolls as she gave everyone a befitting reply. The actress has now taken to her Instagram stories to reveal that she has taken legal action against them.
On Sunday, August 3, Devoleena shared multiple screenshots of hateful comments about her son. The actor claimed that over 2000 negative comments had been made about Joy. She also shared a screenshot of her conversation seeking their assistance from the official Cyber Crime India account.
In one of the stories, she wrote, "Lets heal and treat them the way they deserve to troll a 7-month-old for complexion and inter faith marriage. Request you all to shares screenshots of any trolls and their profile in my DM. Will lodge official complaint soon (sic)." Further sharing screenshots of Cyber Crime officials response, the actor wrote, "Ab kya kahu. 8900+ comments. Inmein se agar 2000 bhi negative assume karu, phir bhi 7k positive comments hain. Thank you all for all the love, prayers, blessings and protections for my child. This means a lot. Also, a request to all mothers - always take a stand against bullies and trolls, especially when it comes to your child. Be the strongest shield. Bohot kuch likhna chahti hoon, but I am overwhelmed.
