UK-based kathak and contemporary dancer Akram Khan collaborates with Israel Galvan, a flamenco dancer from Spain, for Torobaka which comes to Mumbai this week after first being performed at Seville last year.

Derived from the word &lsquo;toro&rsquo; for bull and &lsquo;vaca&rsquo; for cow, the dance is about a hunter, lost in the countryside, imitating the gait of the animal he has come to hunt. While Khan plays the warrior, Galvan plays the hunted. Speaking to Sunday mid-day, the two share what the audience should watch out for in the 70-minute performance.
