"But if there are a few friends around who are game to watch it a venue, I don't mind either," he shares, adding, "I love the game itself. So I'm not really a team supporter. 'May the best team win,' as they say. But the underdogs are always interesting to root for." He also says that it looks like England will take home football's ultimate prize this year. "But a team like Croatia can always cause an upset, since they are quite a strong unit this time around."

Trust chef Saransh Goila to organise a party for his friends that is a perfect blend of food and football. "We are having a pizza party for the semi-finals at my place. Most of my friends love food and everyone will make their own pizzas. Since I am supporting France in the first semi-final, we are going to have some fun with French cheeses for the toppings. And because they are playing against Belgium, we will also throw in some chocolates in the mix, since that's what the country is famous for.
It will be a cheese and chocolate themed event," he says. He adds that this World Cup has been full of unexpected results. "All the underdogs did well, which has made this a really exciting tournament for people who genuinely like football," Goila thinks

Mandira Bedi is working on both days of the semi-finals. "But I am sure that when I get home, I will find my husband watching the match with friends on the large screen we have, since that's what invariably ends up happening. But for the finals, I have a couple of invitations - one from a club in BKC and another for a screening that a fashion magazine is hosting. So I will choose from either, depending on how much I want to dress up!" she quips.
