Mahaparinirvan Diwas 2022: Central Railway to run 12 special trains

The Central Railway (CR) on Monday said that it will run 12 suburban special trains between Dadar- Kalyan and Kurla- Panvel stations on December 6 (starting from December 5 midnight) and will extend Dadar terminating/ originating trains upto Parel for the benefit of passengers on the occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Divas.


Mahaparinirvan Divas will be marked by the followers of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on December 6.



The CR said, the special trains will be stopping at all stations on the route.


Main Line - Up Specials:
Kurla-Dadar Special will leave Kurla  at 00.45 hrs and arrive Dadar at 01.00 hrs.
Kalyan- Dadar Special will leave Kalyan at 01.00 hrs and arrive Dadar at 02.10 hrs.
Thane- Dadar Special will leave Thane at 02.10 hrs and arrive Dadar at 02.50 hrs.

Main Line - Dn Specials:
Dadar - Thane Special will leave Dadar at 1.15 hrs and arrive Thane at 01.55 hrs.
Dadar - Kalyan Special will leave Dadar at 02.25 hrs and arrive Kalyan at 03.35 hrs.
Dadar - Kurla Special will leave Dadar at 03.00 hrs and arrive Kurla at 03.15 hrs.

Harbour Line – Up Specials:
Vashi– Kurla Special will leave Vashi at 01.30 hrs and arrive Kurla at 02.10 hrs.
Panvel– Kurla Special will leave Panvel at 01.40 hrs and arrive Kurla at 02.45 hrs.
Vashi– Kurla Special will leave Vashi at 03.10 hrs and arrive Kurla at 03.40 hrs.

Habour Line - Dn Specials:
Kurla –Vashi Special will leave Kurla at 02.30 hrs and arrive Vashi at 03.00 hrs.
Kurla –Panvel Special will leave Kurla at 03.00 hrs and arrive Panvel at 04.00 hrs.
Kurla –Vashi Special will leave Kurla at 04.00 hrs and arrive Vashi at 04.35 hrs.

Following Dadar Terminating/Originating Trains will be extended upto Parel and will originate from Parel on December 5, 6 and 7.

• Titwala-Dadar arriving Dadar at 09.37 will run upto Parel arriving at 09.41 and will run as Dadar-Kalyan departing Parel at 09.45
• Kalyan-Dadar arriving Dadar at 12.55 will run upto Parel arriving at 12.59 and will run as Dadar-Kalyan departing Parel at 13.03      
• Thane-Dadar arriving Dadar at 17.51 will run upto Parel arriving at 17.55 and will run as Dadar-Dombivli departing Parel at 17.59      
• Thane-Dadar arriving Dadar at 18.10 will run upto Parel arriving at 18.14 and will run as Dadar-Kalyan departing Parel at 18.18      
• Dombivli-Dadar arriving Dadar at 18.35 will run upto Parel arriving at 18.39 and will run as Dadar-Kalyan departing Parel at 18.43      
• Thane-Dadar arriving Dadar at 19.03 will run upto Parel arriving at 19.07 and will run as Dadar-Kalyan departing Parel at 19.11      
• Dombivli-Dadar arriving Dadar at 19.39 will run upto Parel arriving at 19.39 and will run as Dadar- Dombivli departing Parel at 19.47      
• Thane-Dadar arriving Dadar at 19.49 will run upto Parel arriving at 19.53 and will run as Dadar-Thane departing Parel at 19.57      
• Kalyan-Dadar arriving Dadar at 20.20 will run upto Parel arriving at 20.24 and will run as Dadar-Kalyan departing Parel at 20.28      

The CR said, "all commuters are requested to please take note of it and avail the special facility."

It said, passengers are advised to follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviour while boarding, travelling and alighting the trains. The railway administration appeals to the commuters to travel with proper tickets to avoid inconvenience.
