Maharashtra set to become first state with comprehensive deep-tech policy framework

Maharashtra is set to introduce its first Quantum Policy and Deep Tech Policy. CM Devendra Fadnavis said the state will become the first in India to implement a comprehensive framework for the deep-tech ecosystem

Maharashtra is set to introduce its first Quantum Policy and Deep Tech Policy, with Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday saying the state would become the first in the country to implement a comprehensive policy framework for the deep-tech ecosystem.

The announcement was made after a meeting chaired by Fadnavis at his official residence, Varsha, to review the proposed policies. Minister for Electronics, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Ashish Shelar and senior government officials attended the meeting.
