Maharashtra weather update: IMD issues yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar over hot, humid conditions

According to the latest forecast issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Mumbai on Friday afternoon, Mumbai, Thane and Palghar have been placed under a yellow alert from May 8 to May 10 due to persistent hot and humid weather conditions

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued multiple weather alerts across Maharashtra over the next few days, warning of hot and humid conditions in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and thunderstorm activity in several parts of Vidarbha and interior Maharashtra.
According to the latest forecast issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Mumbai on Friday afternoon, Mumbai, Thane and Palghar have been placed under a yellow alert from May 8 to May 10 due to persistent hot and humid weather conditions. Similar weather conditions are also expected in Raigad and Ratnagiri districts during the same period.
