IMD issues orange alert for Dhule, Nashik, Gondia and other parts of Maharashtra; predicts thunderstorms and rains

According to the alert, thunderstorms with lightning, light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds reaching speeds of 50 to 60 kmph are very likely to occur at isolated places

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued an orange alert for several districts in Maharashtra, warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall and strong gusty winds.
The districts under the orange alert include Dhule, Nandurbar, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Chandrapur and Gondia.
