Thane fire brigade rescues man from drowning near Kalwa New Bridge

A 30-year-old man was rescued from drowning in a creek near Kalwa New Bridge in Thane after a swift operation by the Thane Municipal Corporation's Disaster Management Cell and fire brigade. The rescue team brought him to safety within 15 minutes before handing him over to the police

A 30-year-old man was rescued from drowning in a creek near Kalwa New Bridge in Thane on Tuesday after a swift response by fire brigade personnel and the Thane Municipal Corporation's (TMC) Disaster Management Cell.

According to the Disaster Management Cell, an alert about a person drowning was received at around 11:38 am. The incident occurred near Kalwa New Bridge, opposite Saket Police Chowky on Saket Road in Thane (West).
