‘Hiccups and Hookups’ actress Shinnova has filed a suit to prove that she is the biological daughter of actor-politician Ravi Kishan born out of his relationship with Aparna Soni. She has worked in the series ‘Hiccups and Hookups’ alongside Lara Dutta and Prateik Babbar. The 25-year-old took the internet by storm after she posted a video claiming that she’s the biological daughter of Kishan and will take the legal route to prove the same. Jailed gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari passed away on Mar 28 following a cardiac arrest. Mukhtar Ansari took his last breath at Banda Medical College Hospital in Uttar Pradesh. Following his death, people in large numbers gathered outside the politician’s residence in Ghazipur. The police also conducted a flag march and issued alerts across the state to prevent any untoward incidents following Ansari's death. Security arrangements have been beefed up in several parts of UP after the demise. However, Umar Ansari, the son of Mukhtar Ansari, alleged conspiracy in father’s death.

A shocking incident of child molestation has emerged from Thane. Reportedly, on a school trip on February 20th, the bus attendant molested 8-10 children who were from grade 2. Parents held protests outside school against the school administration over alleged molestation of children on a school trip. They were demanding the resignation of the teachers involved and management. We have filed an FIR against the teacher, management, principal and the criminal. On the Thane children molestation incident, a parent said, "On February 20, when kids from grade 2 were on a picnic, two outsiders also accompanied them which wasn't informed to any parents. We don't know the due diligence or the process through which they're selected for the picnic.”

Former Indian Skipper MS Dhoni filed criminal cases against his former business partners for an alleged fraud. MS Dhoni’s lawyer Dayanand Singh informed that CSK captain was allegedly duped by former ‘Ranji player’ of over 15 crore. He also alleged that the accused deceived MS Dhoni by saying that he would open cricket academies in his name. Dhoni filed a complaint in the Ranchi court against Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwas of Arca Sports and Management Limited alleging discrepancies in a 2017 business transaction.

In a major Parliament security breach, two persons jumped into Lok Sabha from the visitors’ gallery, and triggered a commotion on December 13. The Maternal Uncle of one of the accused, spoke to the media in Lucknow. Defending his niece Pradeep Sharma, he said that Sagar had been pulled into a conspiracy. He further added that people holding big positions have lured him to make this act. He went on to say that the issue should be thoroughly investigated. India on November 29 formed a high-level inquiry committee to address the security concerns highlighted by the US government. US Secretary of State also welcomed the probe panel set up by India and said “It’s good and appropriate”. Delhi Police detained government official on Aug 21 for allegedly raping his deceased friend’s minor daughter. According to the police, the accused has been continuously assaulting the minor between Oct 2020, Feb 2021. On August 13, an FIR has been registered under the relevant sections of the IPC, POCSO Act. As per complaint, the accused sexually harassed her for several months between 2020, 2021.The minor girl disclosed that she got pregnant and was being forced to abort her pregnancy.

The BJP today unleashed an attack on the Congress and Rahul Gandhi in Parliament, alleging Chinese funding of the party a day after an explosive New York Times report claimed that media portal Newsclick, financed by tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham, was pushing China’s agenda. It also accused the Congress of defending Newsclick during an investigation by the Enforcement Directorate in 2021 into its funding. He alleged that China had bailed Congress out on multiple occasions between 2005 and 2015. Earlier on Monday, union minister for information and technology Anurag Thakur alleged that Congress, China and NewsClick are part of an umbilical cord.

Home Minister of Haryana Anil Vij spoke on the situation in Nuh after state witnessed violence that erupted between two groups on July 31.During an interaction with the media, he said that everything was pre-planned, as people ascended hills around the temples, had lathis, and gathered at entry points. He further stated that several rounds were fired and that some persons had arranged weapons to disturb the peace, law and order in the region. In addition, he stated that the government does not want to rush to a conclusion without conducting a comprehensive investigation, and that internet connections would be restored after the situation in the region improves.
