India wrestler Narsingh Yadav, 33, is delighted to win his first gold medal at the World Police Games (WPG) at Winnipeg in Canada recently. Narsingh beat United States’ Devin Patterson 8-4 in the 79 kg freestyle category title clash.

“To win a gold medal at the World Police Games is a big achievement because I was playing in this competition for the first time. It was really tough and I am delighted that I won gold for my police department. I hope this triumph will motivate other athletes in the police department to excel further,” Narsingh told mid-day.com.
