India kabaddi head coach BC Ramesh, who was part of India’s gold-medal-winning teams at the 1998 Bangkok and 2002 Busan Asian Games, believes the experienced Sunil Kumar is the right man to lead the side in Japan.

Sunil has led Gujarat Giants, Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba across different editions of the Pro Kabaddi League. “Sunil deserves to lead India. He has been playing very well in the Pro Kabaddi League for many years and leads this team nicely. I’m confident he will lead from the front at the Asian Games,” Ramesh told mid-day.
