Ahead of the last two games of the tour in Australia, the Indian women’s hockey team vice-captain Deep Grace Ekka stated that the team will aim to strengthen their defence to avoid conceding easy goals.

Out of the three games played against Australia, the Indians lost 2-4 and 2-3 in the first two games, respectively, and then made a comeback in the third game to ensure a 1-1 result.
