Jamshedpur: Husband strangles wife over family feud

A 38-year-old woman was today strangulated allegedly by her husband over a family feud in Safigunj here, police said. The accused husband, Manoj Sharma, a private security guard, was arrested, the police said

Jamshedpur: A 38-year-old woman was today strangulated allegedly by her husband over a family feud in Safigunj here, police said. The accused husband, Manoj Sharma, a private security guard, was arrested, the police said.

Following an altercation between the couple, police said Sharma strangled his wife, Nutan Sharma to death in a fit of rage. Nutan was immediately rushed to Tata Main Hospital, where doctors declared her dead, they said.

The couple used to indulge in frequent quarrel over family issue, police added.
