According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the death occurred due to a house collapse on Napean Sea Road. At 11:24 am, the wall of a building near Shimla House, at Hyderabad Estate Quarters, fell onto a tree, causing a part of the tree to crush a man named Satish Tirke, aged between 50 and 55 years

At least one person was killed and another injured during Monday's heavy rainfall in Mumbai.

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the death occurred due to a house collapse on Napean Sea Road. At 11.24 am, the wall of a building near Shimla House, at Hyderabad Estate Quarters, fell onto a tree, causing a part of the crush a man named Satish Tirke, aged between 50 and 55 years.   


In a separate incident, a tree collapsed at Parsi Wadi in Sahar Road around 10.35 am, injuring a person. The The Mumbai Fire Brigade took the injured person to Cooper Hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable.



Meanwhile, the BMC also reported one person missing after being washed away due to waterlogging at Vimla Nagar in Bandra. The incident was reported at 2.14 pm, and local authorities have launched a search-and-rescue operation.
