On Saturday, five new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Maharashtra's Thane district, as per the health bulletin. The infection count increased to to 7,47,344.

The number of active Covid-19 cases in Thane district, which comes under MMR has come down to 59. On Friday, the active count of the district was 71, the official said.
