On Thursday, the 'Padmavati' actor interacted with the media in Mumbai to launch a mobile phone, of which he is the brand ambassador.
At the phone launch, selfie-king Ranveer revealed the number of selfies he takes in a day.
"I have an authority of taking selfies. I take 2 dozens of pictures every day, sometimes when I meet my fans, it even goes up to 50 and 100."
At the event, Ranveer ecstatically exclaimed that he was happy to be in public after so many days.
"Coming out in public after a really long for this brand launch. Due to my film's (Padmavati) schedule I couldn't come out in public so often."
Due to his hectic Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Padmavati' schedule, Ranveer maintained a low profile.
The actor, who has gone all clean-shaven, looked dapper in a black blazer-suit.
