Feast on Biryani fit for a king

They also have separate sections for families and for women. However, we did feel that they could been more creative in terms of the decor. We liked: Sticking to the main attraction here, we ordered the Gulmohar Special Mutton Biryani (Rs 130) and followed it up with a Chicken Kasturi Kebab (Rs 100). The kebab had medium chicken pieces cooked with Pudina paste, green chillies and garlic. It was yummy and sufficient for more than two people. The Mutton Biryani was served with raita and had small mutton pieces that blended well with basmati rice. But we did feel that the rice was a bit undercooked. Service: This is one area where the restaurant fails to deliver. The attendant was neither aware of the menu nor the prices. He repeatedly went back and forth to check with the chef for details about the dishes. At: Hauz Khaas Gulmohar Restaurant, 2039, Jaan Mohammad Street, near Baba Jaan Chowk, Camp.
