London: Manchester City suffered their second defeat at the hands of Juventus as the Italian club outclassed the former 1-0 at home to advance to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Forward Mario Mandzukic¿s first-half goal was enough to claim victory as City failed to open their account despite repeated efforts,the Guardian reported.
With the win, Juventus have climbed up to the top in Group D of the league table ahead of City who are at the second place in standings.
City will next play against Borussia Monchengladbach while Juventus will lock horns with Sevilla on December 9.
