Ananya Biswas scored the winner in Bombay Scottish's (Mahim) 1-0 win over NSS Hill Spring International School (Tardeo) in the Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA)-organised girls under-14 Division I football match at Azad Maidan yesterday.

Scottish adapted aggressive approach from the start, but failed to make any inroads. The Tardeo school too failed to break the deadlock until the end of the first half. Switching sides, the Mahim outfit continued with their aggressive approach. Their persistence paid off in the 43rd minute when goalkeeper-turned-forward Ashna Tomas dribbled into the opposition half and placed the ball in the path of Ananya, who went on to score the decider for the Mahim school.
