Here’s how India foiled Pakistan’s honey-trap plot to gather sensitive info

Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), infamous for its notorious attempts of waging asymmetrical war against India, once again bit the dust as its major ‘honey-trapping’ bid was foiled in Gujarat and a man was arrested in the case. This time, an ISI was eyeing information on India’s one of the most advanced missile system, BrahMos. A Pakistani agent, posing as a girl from Chandigarh, ‘honey-trapped’ Indian man Pravin Mishra through Facebook. Who is Pravin Mishra? Pravin Mishra, an aeronautical engineer by profession, worked at a factory in Gujarat’s Ankleshwar. The company supplied synthetic chemical to Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO). The Pakistani agent, who was in pursuit of sensitive details related to BrahMos, befriended Mishra through social media and attempted to persuade him to leak information. While Pravin shared some details with ISI, Indian intel agencies were quick to nab him. Pravin has now been arrested and FIR has been registered. The further probe is underway.

India rejects "absurd claims" & "baseless arguments" made by China

India has again rejected the "absurd claims" and "baseless arguments" made by China on Arunachal Pradesh. In a befitting reply to China on Arunachal, India asserted it to be an "integral and inalienable part of India". The MEA noted that people of Arunachal will "continue to benefit" from India's development programmes. Chinese Defence Ministry recently reiterated its claim over Arunachal Pradesh, terming the Indian State as “China’s inherent territory”. The Chinese military's comments came days after India rejected China’s remark on PM Modi’s visit to the northeast state. PM Modi on March 9 virtually inaugurated the strategic Sela Tunnel during an event held in the capital city of Itanagar. Further on March 15, Zhang said that China “firmly opposes India's illegal establishment of the so-called 'Arunachal Pradesh'”.

It is a Sunni terrorist group that operates in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan (Info Source- Al Arabiya News). The group has a history of carrying out attacks against the Iranian security forces. Weeks after the airstrikes were carried out, two nations mutually agreed to expand security cooperation. EAM Jaishankar slams Pakistan, talks tough on cross-border terrorism

Cornering Pakistan over terrorism, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on December 23 said that if somebody is practicing cross-border terrorism, you need to respond and impose a cost out there. Speaking at the event, EAM said, “Terrorism started at the moment of our independence when so-called raiders came from across Pakistan. What has changed in this country today, I think the Mumbai 26/11, to me, was the tipping point. A lot of people were very confused till they saw the true graphic impactful phase of terrorism of 26/11. Now, what we need to do first is we need to counter. I know that people who said, oh, we had a very smart strategy of turning the other chick. I don't think that's just the mood of the nation. I don't think it makes sense. I don't think it makes strategic sense. If somebody is practicing cross-border terrorism you must respond, you must extract, impose a cost out there.”

He showed how power was being supplied to the basement through the tunnel and the stockpile kept inside. Displaying the signs of hostages being kept in the basement, Daniel showed women’s clothes, ropes, diapers and bottles. Since the war broke out, Hamas has been accused of using civilians of Gaza as a shield. Reuters cited its sources claiming that Hamas has around 40,000 fighters. They can move around the enclave using a vast web of fortified tunnels, hundreds of kilometers long up to 80 meters deep. The Israeli military has intensified ground operations inside the besieged Gaza Strip. With the intensification of the ground ops by Israel, ceasefire is nowhere near sight.
