Day after Indians were arrested, EAM Jaishankar talked tough over recent developments in Sikh separatist’s murder case. Turning the tables, EAM said that there’s nothing to fear as if something happened in Canada, it is for them to worry about. Attacking further, Jaishankar accused Canada of giving space to extremism, separatism in the name of “free speech”. EAM Jaishankar also slammed Ottawa for being silent on threats to Indian diplomats. Notably, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was a designated terrorist in India, was also a pro-Khalistan leader. Earlier, Canada accused India of alleged involvement in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
