A 12-inch falcon statue, which appeared in the 1941 Humphrey Bogart's Hollywood classic 'The Maltese Falcon', is all set to go under the hammer and is expected to fetch over 1 million pounds.
The 50lbs lead statue was the object of desire of Bogart’s private detective character, the Daily Express reported.
The protagonist believed the statuette to be a priceless, jewel-encrusted solid gold antique in the flick, but in the end it turned out to be a fake.
