Speculation is rife about an impending engagement between Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli and his Bollywood beau Anushka Sharma. Well, the couple, who are vacationing in Uttarakhand added fuel to all the rumours by visiting an ashram in Haridwar. The duo were seen with spiritual guru Anant Maharaj at the Anant Dham Atmabodh Ashram.

The couple met Anant Maharaj and even performed puja and a traditional parkirama at the Shiva temple of the ashram.

Anant Maharaj is Anushka's spiritual guru and the actress is known to frequent the ashram. She is said to have visited the ashram in December 2014 ahead of the release of her film 'PK' and again last year when she reportedly performed some puja ahead of Team India's World Cup quarter-final encounter with Bangladesh.
Anant Maharaj paid the couple a visit at the hotel on Thursday.
Virat has a long break before Team India gets down to business once again when they will England in the one-day series that will begin on January 15. And the cricketer who's 2016 ended with a bang may be looking to start the new year with a bang off the cricket pitch.
The actress and Virat, both 28, have confined themselves to their hotel accommodation since their hush-hush arrival at Hotel Ananda in Narendranagar about 17 kms from Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
Fans have camped near the hotel to get a glimpse of their favourite stars from Bollywood and the cricketing world.
According to media reports, several big-wigs, both from Bollywood and cricket fraternity, including Bachchans, Ambanis and Kapoors, are expected to attend the engagement ceremony that is likely to take place at the hotel.
Anushka Sharma's close friends and family members are reportedly already staying at the venue and the preparations for the big day have begun.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have not released any official statement so far.

Anushka and Virat stated dating each other in 2013 while shooting for a commercial and went public in 2015. Earlier on in 2016, there were reports of the two having split but they have patched up since then and going stronger than ever.
