Have you ever wondered who started the 'Sachin… Sachin' chant which reverberates at stadiums even today when Sachin Tendulkar makes an appearance? It is none other than Sachin's mother Rajni.

"My mother started it actually. I used to play downstairs and to call me back home, my mother would call 'Sachin… Sachin," said Tendulkar at the song launch of the to-be-released movie Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
"I never thought 'Sachin… Sachin' (chant) would continue beyond my playing days. It has now gone in to the theatres. I'm happy," the cricket icon said. The film releases on May 26.
