Indian captain Virat Kohli maybe busy leading the Indian cricket team in the ongoing tour at West Indies, but that does not deter him from backing his country's athletes at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

The Test skipper took to Twitter to congratulate Indian female shuttler PV Sindhu on winning the semi finals and assuring India of a silver medal, as well as wished her all the best in her epic final clash for gold. Check out the video below.

PV Sindhu defeated world number 6 Nozomi Okuhara in the semi finals 21-19, 21-10 to set up a final clash for the gold medal against top seed Caroline Marin.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently leading India in the fourth and final Test against the West Indies in Port of Spain. India are currently 2-0 in the series.
