Veteran actor Ajinkya Deo continues to prove that age has little to do with ambition or artistry. Known for his effortless screen presence and a career spanning over four decades, Ajinkya remains unstoppable with a strong line-up of projects that reflect both range and depth.
In his upcoming release, Excel Entertainment’s war epic 120 Bahadur, Ajinkya portrays a decorated brigadier in a story inspired by the legendary Battle of Rezang La. The film celebrates the courage of 120 Indian soldiers who faced 3,000 Chinese troops in 1962 and Ajinkya’s performance promises to be both sensitive and stirring. The recently released trailer has already struck a chord, giving viewers goosebumps and setting high expectations for the film.
Born on January 17, 1964, he is the son of veteran Marathi actor Ramesh Deo and Seema Deo. Ajinkya made his debut with a role in the Superhit Marathi movie Ardhangi (1985) opposite Archana Joglekar and went on to become a superstar with Sarja (1987).
Ajinkya continues to embrace roles that demand both physical and emotional strength proving that passion, not years, defines an artist’s journey. After 120 Bahadur, he will be seen in Asa Me Ashi Me, where he will be seen romancing a much younger actress, a refreshing change that adds yet another layer to his ever-evolving career. Followed by a Maddock project and as Vishwamitra in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-anticipated Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor, a role that highlights his gravitas and command over mythological characters.
With each performance, Ajinkya Deo reminds us that while age can be measured in years, true passion and artistry remain timeless.
