Atul Mathur is one of the best Acting Coach of Bollywood who has trained and guided actors like Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Divya Khosla Kumar, Eijaz Khan and several other prominent film, TV and OTT actors who are doing very well in their respective fields.

General belief is acting is a natural talent…Either you have it in you or you don’t…It can not be taught.
Nothing can be further from the truth. Like any other craft, acting can be learnt with the help of right technique, practice and hard work. I don’t believe in ‘born actor’ concept. Even ‘in-born talent’ needs correct guidance and technique to thrive and shine.
So you mean to say, anyone can become an actor?
Yes, of course! Acting is not for desperate people. If you want to be a professional actor, you need to remember 3P’s :
Passion (lots of it) , Practice (again lots of it) and Patience (loads of it) before you get your first chance.
We have heard instead of herding so many students in a class, you focus on only one student at a time…

That’s right. I like to focus individually on each and every student. I help them dropping their inhibitions, gaining confidence, improving their diction, hone their abilities to act and turn them into seasoned actors.
People say you also help your students get work in films and related fields…
Nobody can promise you to get work in films or on small screen. You only get work if you are a brilliant actor and suit the character to T. But yes, I do guide and direct my students to right people who are professionals and with their help they definitely have chances to get a lot of work. I also help my students to prepare for auditions even if they have completed their course with them long back. I am always there to guide them and show them the right path.
We have heard you are very expensive and charge exorbitant amount of money as your fees…
(Laughs) No, I don’t charge exorbitant amount of money as my fees, but yes, of course, my training certainly is not very cheap. By the end of it, you get the worth of money and returns are many folds!
I would just say that I charge what I feel my training is worth. And I have no competition with people charge less as they know what their training is worth.
