A book launch programme dedicated to the life, ideology, and nationalist vision of Veer Savarkar was held at Vile Parle East, Mumbai, drawing intellectuals, social thinkers, writers, and a strong presence of young readers. The event marked the release of three books authored by Dr. Vaidehi Taman, which seek to present Veer Savarkar’s ideas in a format accessible to today’s youth. The books were released by eminent thinker Swami Vigyananand, while Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha attended as the chief guest.

The Hindi and Marathi editions have been published by Astitva Prakashan, while the English edition has been brought out by Prabhat Prakashan. Released simultaneously in three languages, the books- -*Reclaiming Bharat*, -*Veer Savarkar Ki Krantikari Yatra*- , and -*Veer Savarkar Chi Krantikari Yatra*- -cover Savarkar’s revolutionary struggle, ideological clarity, and long-term vision for a strong and self-reliant nation.

Speaking during the launch, Dr. Vaidehi Taman said, “Savarkar is very close to my heart. We knew him as Tatya, and we grew up listening to the songs written by him. I grew up understanding his dream and vision for Bharat, and I want this generation to understand Savarkar as well, to reclaim Bharat.” She further remarked that “there are many so-called secular influences that are conditioning young minds by distorting history,” underlining her resolve to present Savarkar’s ideas in a clear and authentic manner for today’s youth.

Swami Vigyananand, in his address, emphasised Savarkar’s enduring relevance. “Savarkar was relevant a hundred years ago and he remains relevant even today,” he said, adding that while many detailed volumes exist, Dr. Taman’s work stands out for its clarity. He appreciated her effort to make Savarkar’s thought understandable for youth and common readers who may not engage with lengthy academic texts, and spoke on the need for unity, self-reliance, and reclaiming Bharat as envisioned by Savarkar.

Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha urged young Indians to read original works to form informed opinions rather than rely on distorted interpretations. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion and felicitation of the author, reflecting a growing appetite for readable, youth-focused nationalist literature grounded in history.
