Intel’s PadhAI Ka Future shows how safe, learning-ready laptops can transform student outcomes with purpose-driven edtech.
Intel PadhAI Ka Future
For today’s parents and teachers, the question is no longer whether children should have access to digital devices - but what kind of access they should have. A laptop on a child’s desk can either open doors to structured learning, creativity, and future-ready skills, or quietly become a gateway to distraction, unsafe content, and unmonitored screen time. The difference lies not in the device itself, but in the intent, ecosystem, and safeguards built around it.
This is precisely the shift in thinking that Intel’s “PadhAI Ka Future” campaign brings to the forefront
At a time when children are growing up amid unlimited internet access, social media pressures, and rapidly advancing AI tools, the campaign envisions a fundamental reset in how devices are introduced to students. The idea is not to deny access, but to define the purpose first. The purpose is to ensure that every device a child receives is, above all, an education device. Learning should be the default experience, not an optional add-on. Entertainment can follow, but only after the foundations of safe, structured, and meaningful learning are firmly in place.
So what happens when a digital device is intentionally built to be a learning companion?
Karan’s story helps us understand this shift in action.

Maharashtra, India : Digital learning is becoming an essential part of students’ education, but parents often wonder how to make it both safe and effective. The story of Karan, a student from Maharashtra, shows how the right device combined with the right learning app can transform a child’s educational journey.
Karan, like many children at home and in school, struggles especially with Mathematics and English, leaving his parents concerned about his academic progress. As part of a social initiative, he received a device with the iPrep Learning App - designed as a complete learning device, much like the vision behind Intel’s PadhAI Ka Future campaign. It featured curriculum-aligned content in Marathi and English, including video lessons, syllabus-based books, notes, practice exercises, activity videos, and much more.
Over 12 months in 2023, Karan spent an incredible 1,693 hours on his learning device. This made him the highest user among all students who received the devices across Maharashtra. Most of his time, that is 1,671 hours, was spent on video lessons, which Karan says helped him understand complex concepts and revise lessons multiple times at his own pace.
Karan particularly benefited from animated video lessons and interactive practice in Math and Science. Subjects that once seemed daunting became engaging and accessible. Plus, because he had access to bilingual content, his English skills also improved dramatically, despite starting from a Marathi medium background.
Karan’s hard work and dedication culminated on May 27th, 2024, when he passed the 10th board exams with 49%, scoring 61 in Math, 49 in Science, and 41 in English. Teachers and parents, who had feared he might drop out, celebrated his inspiring turnaround.
Karan’s journey is more than an individual success - it reflects what becomes possible when technology is designed with responsibility and learning at its core. It reinforces a simple but powerful idea: when digital devices are paired with high-quality, curriculum-aligned educational content, students are empowered not just to learn better, but to use technology consciously and purposefully.

About “PadhAI Ka Future” Campaign:
The “PadhAI Ka Future” campaign is a national initiative by Intel aimed at reshaping how digital devices are perceived and used in education. At a time when children’s exposure to the internet, social media, and AI tools is rapidly increasing, the campaign underscores the urgent need to make learning both purpose-driven and safe.
The initiative advocates that Intel-powered laptops, when thoughtfully bundled with curated educational content and strong parental controls, evolve from generic devices into trusted learning companions for students - at home and in school. By ensuring access to certified learning resources while minimising risks associated with unregulated digital exposure, the campaign addresses growing concerns around screen misuse and online safety.
As an official Intel learning partner, iDream Education contributes to this vision through its iPrep Learning Platform - a bilingual, offline-first, NCERT-aligned digital solution designed to support equitable and effective learning outcomes.
