Les Trésors Art Gallery, located in Atria Mall, Worli, Mumbai, continues its journey of celebrating modern and contemporary Indian art with its latest exhibition: Jogen Chowdhury – Language of Line. The month-long showcase is a rare opportunity for art lovers to immerse themselves in the evocative and distinctive work of one of India’s most celebrated living artists.
The exhibition was inaugurated on July 19 by Shri Ashish Shelar, Honourable Minister for Culture, Government of Maharashtra, and will run until August 19. Open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM, the show invites collectors, connoisseurs, and admirers of Indian art to engage deeply with Chowdhury’s masterful body of work, which includes his signature cross-hatched drawings and a selection of sculptures.

Founded by Dr. Archana Srivastava and Ms. Priyanka Morjaria, Les Trésors Art Gallery has quickly established itself as a vibrant cultural hub in the city. Since its debut on October 13, 2024, with the grand exhibition Eclectic Expression, featuring over 47 artists including legends such as M.F. Husain, S.H. Raza, Rabin Mandal, and Suhas Roy, the gallery has been at the forefront of bridging established masters with emerging artistic voices.
Dr. Srivastava, an accomplished artist herself, shares a deep and enduring connection with art, artists, and the world of art academia. This intrinsic bond not only informs her curatorial sensibilities but also enables her to build meaningful relationships within the art community — a quality that continues to enrich the gallery’s vision and programming.
“Jogen Chowdhury – Language of Line is not just an exhibition; it’s an intimate dialogue with the visual poetry of a living legend,” said the founders. “We’re honoured to present his works to the public in a setting that allows for reflection and deep appreciation.”
Art enthusiasts and the culturally curious are invited to visit Les Trésors and experience firsthand the expressive power of line, form, and emotion that defines Jogen Chowdhury’s unparalleled legacy.
