In a landmark medical advancement for Tanzania, internationally acclaimed interventional radiologist Dr. Saurabh Joshi, Founder and Director of Vein Centre, successfully introduced modern minimally invasive varicose vein treatments during his visit to Dar es Salaam from 18–21 November 2025. The visit included the first-ever VenaSeal procedure performed in the country, marking a significant step forward in elevating venous care standards for Tanzanian patients.

Hosted in collaboration with Hitech Sai Hospital, Dr. Joshi evaluated 20 patients aged 30 to 65, many of whom were suffering from long-standing venous insufficiency, chronic pain, and, in several cases, delayed healing ulcers. His work focused on sharing global expertise, supporting local clinicians, and demonstrating how advanced technologies can transform patient outcomes.
