To kick off the evening, Prof. Subhasis Chaudhury, Former Director of IIT Bombay, delivered the Opening Keynote, titled “The Future of Learning – From Institutions to Impact.” Drawing from his extensive experience in academic leadership, Prof. Chaudhury highlighted the importance of institutions evolving from mere knowledge providers to catalysts for societal impact. He emphasised on interdisciplinary thinking, innovation, and responsible leadership.

Moreover, the evening’s Guest of Honour Address by Dr Raj (Kumar) Bhandari, Senior Paediatrician and Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, centred on the importance of emotional well-being and values-based education in shaping resilient and responsible individuals. In his speech, “Beyond Marks: Integrating Holistic Growth into Academic Success,” Dr. Bhandari discussed how a balanced approach to emotional and academic development helps in creating well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society.
